Storage Unit Size Guide & Calculator FAQs

1. What storage unit sizes does Ocala Storage Park offer?
We offer three drive-up sizes: 6x10 (60 sq ft), 10x10 (100 sq ft), and 10x20 (200 sq ft) storage units. We also have RV and camper storage and storage and office flex units.

2. Can I switch to a different unit size after I move in?
Yes, subject to availability. If your unit turns out too small or too large, call or text (352) 629-7475 and our team will help you move to a better fit. More answers are in our storage FAQs.

3. How does the storage calculator work?
Pick the items you plan to store from each room category (bedroom, kitchen, living and dining, office, and outdoors) and enter a quantity for each. The calculator adds up the approximate cubic feet and suggests a unit size. For a step-by-step walkthrough, read What Size Storage Unit Do I Need?

4. How accurate is the size calculator?
It's a good starting estimate. Actual fit depends on how well you pack, the shape of your furniture, and whether you want an aisle for access. If you're close to a size limit, go one size up. See real Ocala examples and tips to make the most of the space in your unit.

5. What if my estimate falls between two unit sizes?
Choose the larger unit if you'll need regular access to your items or plan to add more over time. If you're storing packed boxes you won't touch for months, the smaller size with careful stacking can work. Our 10x10 vs. 10x20 comparison and how to pick the right size guides can help you decide.
